Alzheimer’s documentary to air on PBS January 25

Alzheimer’s: Every Minute Counts is a documentary that “illuminates the social and economic consequences for the country unless a medical breakthrough is discovered for this currently incurable disease.” It premieres on PBS January 25, 2017, at 10pm ET.

The film includes expert commentary and personal stories around the country from individuals affected by the disease. The film aims to educate the public and continue the conversation about the future of this epidemic, its impacts on the economy, and the growing number of Americans predicted to be affected in the fast approaching future.

Currently, more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
